Beyond the Mother Wound ~ Reclaim your Empowered Feminine

An intimate workshop to start healing the after-effects of a difficult relationship with your maternal lineage.

Do you have the Mother Wound?

If you carry with you a legacy of pain, fear, turmoil and confusion because of wounds that were inflicted upon you by your mother then you have the Mother Wound.

Join in circle with other women to gain clarity and caring so you can:

  • Strengthen your self-love, self-worth and self-trust

  • Experience somatic calming

  • Connect with your divine feminine wisdom

  • Start shifting unhelpful maternal lineage imprints

  • Transform your inner critic and become more joyful and empowered

What we will do in the workshop:

We’ll start our day together by sharing a somatic technique to calm triggers while exploring your relationship with your mother.

You are welcome to share what brought you to this workshop and Gena and Oshikan will share why we love the techniques that we are excited to share with you.

We’ll explore what a ‘good enough’ mother is, the different types of difficult mothers, our reactions and beliefs about ourselves as daughters and what you miss or missed in your relationship with your mother.

We’ll have our lunch break (there are many restaurants close by, or you can bring your own and sit in the beautiful Bodhicharya garden).

After lunch, you’ll be introduced to five divine goddess archetypes, the Wisdom Dakinis. Embodying the qualities of the Dakinis is a very effective practice to re-connect with your feminine energy so you can give yourself what you needed but did not or do not get from your mother. You’ll be guided on an insightful journey with the Dakini that you resonate the most with.

The book, ‘Wisdom Rising ~ Journey into the Mandala of the Empowered Feminine’ written by Lama Tsultrim Allione goes into great depth about the Wisdom Dakinis. Tara Mandala Buddhist center offers classes and retreats to continue deepening one’s connection and embodiment of the Dakinis.

We’ll explore the impact of maternal lineage imprints and how to shift them so you can create a positive family legacy and stop harmful patterns from repeating in your relationships and within yourself.

Afterwards you have the chance to share and ask any remaining questions you might have before we end our day together.
